The cross pendant started as a graphic on a hoodie. Customers responded to it more than anything else in the first runs, so when Emerald Eyes moved into jewelry, the cross came first.
01 / The design
From graphic to cross pendant
Grayson drew the shape from the Maltese and St. John cross, then pulled detail from Roman and Greek stonework and statuary. He kept the points soft on purpose, so the piece reads as its own design.
Next, he printed the model in castable resin to check its weight and scale in hand. After that, the design went to a bench jeweler with full spec plates: dimensions, depth, and a knife-edge ring around a round brilliant center.
02 / Why it matters
Why jewelry changes the brand
A hoodie depends on the blank it starts from. A cross pendant doesn’t, because every line comes from the brand. The drop will stay small, and the list will hear about it first.
