This privacy policy explains what this site collects, why, and what we do with it. The site is a student project hosted on the VCU Business WordPress network.

What this privacy policy covers
If you send a message through the contact form, we collect your name, email address, and message. We use it to reply to you and for nothing else.
If you leave a comment, WordPress stores the comment, your name, your email, and your IP address. WordPress also sets a few cookies. For example, login cookies keep site admins signed in, and comment cookies remember your name for next time.
We don’t sell your information or add advertising trackers, and we won’t use your contact details for marketing unless you ask to join a list. Pages may include embedded media from other sites, and those sites can collect data under their own policies.

The system behind Emerald Eyes keeps customer records in their own stores, such as Shopify, where only the right roles can open them. The vault holds a reference and summary numbers, never the full record. So a deletion request touches one store instead of a trail of copies.
